We are doing a "mass mailing" of a 6-by-9 information postcard to be delivered to every home in DRW in the first week of April.

This mass mailing is our attempt to reach out to all DRW residents and ensure that they know our Neighborhood Association exists. It also invites everyone to join our organization and to attend our meetings and to get involved.
We currently do not have enough involved and paying members to continue the operation of the DRW Neighborhood Association. We have an immediate need for someone to step up and volunteer to become a member of our board for the following positions:

  • President - opens in July 2014
  • 2nd Vice President - immediate opening
  • Treasurer - opens in July 2014
Of the 2000 plus residences within DRW we currently have only 32 paid memberships!! That less than 2% of DRW...., unless there is going to be a serious increase in membership and a few volunteers to serve on the board step forward, we will be forced to dissolve this Neighborhood Association in keeping with our existing bylaws. In the event of our disbanding, the final members meeting will be the regularly scheduled one slated for April 17th.

If you want to volunteer, send e-MAIL to or let us know your how you will participate at the April 17th membership meeting.

The Purpose of the Deschutes River Woods Neighborhood Association is to improve living conditions in Deschutes River Woods by protecting and enhancing the values and character of the subdivision through a united volunteer effort.

The Mission of the Association is to act on behalf of its members and the residents of the Deschutes River Woods Subdivision through direct involvement with local, state and federal government officials and agencies on issues that may affect or provide benefits for our area.

In service to our neighborhood since 1987, DRWNA members and volunteers take pride in our area and work together on projects that make DRW a safe, beautiful place to live and raise a family. We welcome new members! You will become an important member of an association that is working toward a better community.

Help us grow our membership - just ask your immediate neighbors to join! If everyone does this, we will soon have a much larger group to share the needed work to continue our Neighborhood's improvement for the next 25 years!

Please join us!
